TL;DR
Elixr is a single-product skincare brand built around a repair serum made from eleven natural oils. The brief was clear: light, natural, breezy. One product, eleven ingredients, nothing extra.

PROBLEM
Single-product skincare brands live or die by how well they communicate what makes that one thing worth trusting. Elixr didn't need to compete across a range; it needed to make eleven ingredients feel like enough. The risk in a market this saturated is either over-designing to compensate, which kills the lightness, or under-designing and disappearing entirely. Most skincare brands bury their ingredient lists or dress up chemicals in natural language. Elixr's position was the opposite: the ingredients are the product. The identity had to make that legible.

THE WORK
The name itself does a lot of work. Elixr comes from elixir, the mythical immortal syrup, which is exactly the kind of confidence a repair serum should carry. The identity was built to match that.
The asterisk mark became the brand's signature. In most contexts an asterisk means a footnote, a caveat, something to read in small print. Here it's reclaimed as a symbol for the ingredient list itself: eleven natural oils, front and centre, nothing hidden. Drawn from the shape of a flower, it sits boldly across packaging and digital touchpoints as a mark of transparency rather than decoration.
The wordmark pairs organic curves with geometric cuts, soft and precise together. The web design extended the same sensibility: spacious layouts, generous white space, natural tones. Ingredients and philosophy first, purchase second. The structure trusts the product to do the convincing.
Eleven ingredients. One product. Nothing to hide.
